Abstract

This paper challenges the problem of study and design a Microwave biological reactor for the working frequency of 2.5 GHz in resonance condition. Since Microwave have been proved to enhance chemical and biochemical reaction in aqueous solutions (faster reaction time and higher yields) a suitable electromagnetic device must be devised. The tuning of the cavity is performed using numerical simulations which include the temperature dependence of water dielectric permittivity. A single-mode unit for Microwave-assisted synthesis for the enhancement of biochemical reaction is designed.
